Job summary

AVIR at Victoria is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Victoria, TX. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities to support residents in improving function and independence.

The OT will evaluate residents, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to enhance daily living skills and overall quality of life within an interdisciplinary team setting.

Qualifications

• Texas Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services based on residents' needs and plan of care.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, and fine motor skills.
• Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, adaptive strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other team members.
• Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress to the team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

AVIR at Victoria is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys providing patient-centered care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
