Job summary

AVIR at Eagle Pass in Eagle Pass, TX seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem roles, offering patient-centered care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Texas OT license in good standing is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and create individualized OT treatment plans.
• Provide skilled OT services based on goals and plan of care.
• Improve ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, and independence.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents and caregivers on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, doctors, and others.
• Participate in care planning and report progress to the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation timely.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

AVIR at Eagle Pass is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys providing patient-centered care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services based on residents' needs, goals, and plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, fine motor skills, and functional independence.
• Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, adaptive strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress and needs to the appropriate team members.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or a similar setting is preferred.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
