Job summary

JLL is seeking an Occupancy Planning Lead to direct a team delivering strategic occupancy planning for a major technology client. You will build relationships with client leadership and internal JLL teams to shape space utilization and sequencing of moves across Chandler, AZ and Austin, TX.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, executive communication, and leading change in a dynamic workplace environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of occupancy planning at a strategic level or related data analytics
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and XLOOKUP
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and cross-team collaboration
• Experience leading teams and driving transformation initiatives
• Experience implementing workplace technologies or CAFM/IWMS platforms
• Strong communication, presentation and executive-level influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic client relationships and coordinate across JLL units
• Develop occupancy plans and move sequences to maximize space utilization
• Analyze real estate data using Excel and AI tools to inform decisions
• Advise on site strategies, policies and portfolio planning
• Lead and mentor teams, set expectations, ensure timely deliverables
• Create executive-ready presentations translating data into recommendations
• Apply AI tools to streamline research and improve deliverables
• Navigate organizational change with strategic thinking and risk awareness
