Job summary

JLL in Austin, Texas seeks an Occupancy Planner to track, analyze, and update space data across our client portfolio. You will translate data into actionable insights shaping modern workplace strategies and support hybrid environments.

Collaborate with business units and facility teams, deliver monthly reports, audits, and space-layout updates. Proficiency with CAFM, BI tools, and Excel is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in occupancy planning, space management, interior office planning, or related facilities function.
• Familiarity with workplace strategy concepts and hybrid work environments.
• Strong analytical skills with complex datasets and floor plans.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain partnerships across units and facility teams; act as liaison for coordination.
• Execute monthly reporting, data audits, utilization tracking, and space layout updates.
• Support occupancy planning tasks with analytical decision-making and problem solving.
• Develop compelling presentations consolidating data and floor plans for stakeholders.
• Conduct facility audits and contribute to planning strategies for hybrid work environments.
• Interpret and analyze floor plans using CAFM, BI platforms, and space planning tools.
