Job summary

JLL in Austin, TX is seeking an Occupancy Planner to track and analyze space data for client portfolios in a designated region. You’ll transform data into actionable insights and support hybrid workplace strategies while coordinating with facilities and stakeholders.

The role requires 3–5 years in occupancy planning, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team. On-site work in Austin, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in occupancy planning or related facilities function in a corporate real estate setting.
• Familiarity with workplace strategy concepts and hybrid work environments.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and spatial planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships across units and stakeholders to coordinate occupancy planning.
• Execute monthly reporting, data audits, utilization tracking, space and adjacency updates.
• Apply analytical thinking to solve space challenges and adapt to client needs.
• Develop clear space layout updates and plan deliveries for projects.
• Create compelling PowerPoint presentations for client stakeholders across levels.
• Conduct facility audits and contribute to planning strategies for hybrid work environments.
• Interpret floor plans using CAFM systems and BI tools to deliver occupancy solutions.
• Track occupancy metrics and support modern office design trends.
