Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Occupancy Planner to partner with end users, develop space solutions, and manage occupancy data aligned with workplace programs in McLean, VA. You will deliver multiple solution options for complex occupancy challenges and collaborate across teams.

Based in McLean, VA, the role emphasizes data-driven decision making, space planning, and coordination of relocations within a dynamic workplace strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 5–7 years of strategic occupancy/space planning experience in corporate real estate.
• Strong data analytics to drive insights for decisions.
• Experience with change management and executive engagement.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office, Excel with pivot tables.
• AutoCAD proficiency for test-fit options.
• Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS systems (FMS, Manhattan, Tririga, Archibus).
• Independent and collaborative work style; adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative space solutions with end users.
• Manage space requests and move orders; create stacking, block, adjacency plans.
• Gather requirements and present options for client decisions.
• Create block plans using AutoCAD; support real estate actions.
• Report utilization and occupancy metrics with BI dashboards and Excel.
• Ensure data accuracy in CAFM/IWMS; manage seat assignments.
• Conduct space audits and coordinate relocations with moves team.
