Job summary

Piedmont Airlines seeks an experienced Operations Control Center (OCC) Planning Manager to oversee dispatchers, supervisors, and coordinators in Salisbury, MD. The role requires a valid FAA dispatch certificate, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of civil aviation regulations.

You will drive staffing, scheduling, and compliance with rest requirements while coordinating with leadership and airline partners.

Qualifications

• Five years of airline management experience.
• FAA dispatch certificate is required or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of ICAO and FAA regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience with Safety Management System (SMS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of dispatchers, supervisors, and coordinators.
• Schedule time off and monitor dispatcher staffing levels.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and regulatory rest requirements.
• Communicate operational issues to Piedmont and partners.
• Support OCC planning for irregular operations and IT issues.
