Job summary

Piedmont Airlines in Salisbury, MD is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Controller with FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and at least 1 year of certified mechanic experience. The role coordinates maintenance discrepancies, monitors line station issues, and helps manage MEL/CDL procedures to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
• At least 1 year of experience as a certified mechanic.
• Good knowledge of aircraft systems and CFRs.
• Ability to work across maintenance discrepancies and MEL/CDL procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance discrepancies and corrections on all operational aircraft.
• Monitor line station mechanical problems and aircraft availability.
• Coordinate parts and staffing for mechanical interruptions and field repairs.
• Provide technical assistance to Maintenance personnel.
• Notify Inspection department of reportable incidents.
