Job summary

JSX is seeking an OCC Coordinator to support daily flight operations, monitor flight activity, and coordinate with crews and services to minimize customer impact. You will manage communications during delays, cancellations, and diversions, ensuring accurate information flow and rapid recovery actions across the network.

The role requires airline industry familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible shifts while prioritizing safety and customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous airline industry experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of aviation operations, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication for coordinating with crews and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Professional demeanor during operational disruptions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience using aviation reservations systems, particularly Navitaire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time flight activity across the JSX network and assess delays or disruptions.
• Maintain situational awareness of operational conditions and identify schedule variances.
• Coordinate with flight crews, Airport Services, Ground Services, and Maintenance Control.
• Provide timely operational updates to Crewmembers and stakeholders.
• Assist irregular operations recovery and minimize customer impact.
• Recommend practical recovery solutions prioritizing safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate communications with FBO partners for private charter operations.
• Ensure changes and recovery plans are conveyed across affected teams.
• Monitor performance and address issues affecting departures, arrivals, or connections.
• Maintain accurate records of activity, delays, disruptions, and recoveries.
• Adhere to aviation regulations, safety standards, and JSX procedures.
• Collaborate across departments to support rapid, effective responses.
