Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Salisbury, MD, is hiring a Training Manager for the Operations Control Center. The role oversees dispatch curriculum, training for new hires, coordinators, and supervisors, and manages recurrent training with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate must hold a valid FAA dispatch certificate, have SABRE Flight Operations Suite experience, and at least five years in a Part 121 OCC. Strong teaching and office software skills are required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience with a Part 121 airline's operation center.
• Valid FAA dispatch certificate.
• Two (2) years of teaching experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain training curricula.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the dispatch curriculum.
• Supervise dispatch training for new hires, Coordinators, Supervisors, and recurrent training.
• Update and maintain the Dispatch Training Manual and related systems.
• Oversee improvements to dispatch systems based on fuel program data and aircraft performance.
• Assist OCC planning for irregular operations (weather, mechanical issues, IT issues).
• Be on-call as required.
