Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a compassionate RN for the Outpatient Observation Unit. This full-time day-shift role features three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, serving a 26-bed observation unit with a 5:1 patient ratio.

You will be supported by patient care techs and eligible for benefits, including an 18% night differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend differential when applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year in an acute care hospital setting.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance and related requirements may apply for Banner roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per policy.
• Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning in collaboration with patient/family.
• Provide care based on physician orders, supervise staff, and ensure continuity of care.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans with the health team.
