Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Professional communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Implement and document nursing care per physician orders and unit protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians, case management and other staff to ensure safe discharge or transfer.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans as needed.
• Mentor and support new staff and students as assigned.
