Job summary

Banner Health's Outpatient Observation Unit in Queen Creek, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our day shift team. You will care for patients not requiring admission, perform assessments, coordinate plans of care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

We offer a supportive environment, with an 18% night shift differential and a $3/hour weekend differential when applicable, plus comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized care.
• Implement and coordinate plan of care with the care team.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses.
• Provide teaching and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of patient records.
