Job summary

Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to join the 54-bed Observation Unit. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care for an outpatient population with rapid turnover.

You will work in a fast-paced environment and participate in self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. The position offers a full benefits package, a night-shift differential of 18% and a weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care nursing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care, including discharge planning.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document care and patient responses in the medical record.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Promote safety and compliance with clinical standards.
