Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center, Phoenix, is seeking an RN for the Observation Unit (Unit 4A) on the Night shift. This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced 60-bed unit.

The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with at least 12 months of RN experience, a 2-year commitment, and an 18% night shift differential (weekends may include a $3/hr differential).

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel positions require recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care per physician orders and policy.
• Document patient responses and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet goals of care.
• Ensure effective communication across care transitions.
