Job summary

Banner Health seeks a Registered Nurse RN for Outpatient in a Bed in Phoenix, AZ. The Observation Unit 10ABCD uses a 4:1 patient ratio for diagnostic workups, with a Night shift from 7pm to 7:30am. This role emphasizes care planning, coordination, and documentation per nursing standards.

Arizona RN license and BLS are required. A 15,000 Sign-on Bonus is available; Bachelor's degree is preferred. Banner Health supports Magnet-recognized care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice. BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan/coordinate nursing care according to policy and professional standards.
• Perform direct patient care and coordinate with the care team, ensuring safe, effective delivery of services.
• Document care plans, patient responses, and interventions clearly in the medical record.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education to promote optimal recovery.
• Support unit operations and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
