Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care or observation units is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Develop and implement a care plan with input from patient, family and care team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care per physician orders and unit policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document assessments, plans and patient responses in the medical record with accuracy.
