Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree or progress toward degree preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Healthcare customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in/out and verify demographic, insurance and payment information.
• Answer phone, address inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and use.
• Enter and validate patient data to ensure accurate registration.
• Communicate information to care team and coordinate scheduling.
• Handle insurance follow-ups and billing questions as needed.
• Collect payments for visit copays, coinsurance and balances.
• Process paperwork and scan documents into EPIC.
