Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant in Labor and Delivery at the Good Samaritan Hospital in the New York region. This 0.9 FTE role covers 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months unless exempt by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obstetrical procedures and deliveries, and help prepare sterile fields.
• Scrub for obstetrical procedures and pass instruments.
• Assist in delivery procedures and prepare the area.
• Provide direct patient care and comfort.
• Serve as a training resource for technicians and RN staff.
