Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide for Labor and Delivery on a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. The role requires ob sterile technique, patient care, and teamwork within rotating weekends/holidays. Training on day shift is available for 8–12 weeks.

Qualifications include Nursing Assistant program completion, state registry in good standing, and BLS certification within six months unless exempt. Competitive pay with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide in good standing with the state registry.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 6 months unless exempt by department leader.
• Advanced training beyond high school in a Nursing Assistant program.

Responsabilités

• Assist with obstetrical procedures and deliveries, including C-section and D&C, and maintain sterile field.
• Scrub for obstetrical procedures and assist with instrument handling and draping.
• Assist in direct patient care activities and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Provide training to technicians, RN staff and others on equipment and procedures.
• Maintain stock of sterile supplies and readiness for emergencies.
• Communicate patient condition accurately to the appropriate staff.
