Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students across programs and campuses.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, is a licensed RN, and has at least 3 years of nursing experience with a strong teaching or mentoring inclination. Collaboration with faculty and clinical partners is essential to support student success.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses being taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a nursing specialty that contributes to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress and grade reports.
• Maintain attendance records and provide feedback to promote learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
