Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. Instructors may teach in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings across programs and campuses.

The ideal candidate is an RN with an MSN or higher, strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication, and a commitment to student achievement. This is a full-time, on-site position aimed at fostering student success and professional growth.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses being taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge in a nursing specialty contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment for student growth and development.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to students' level and needs.
• Supervise students in clinical settings ensuring safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competency per program standards.
• Prepare timely student progress and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
