Job summary

Jersey College seeks a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with an MSN or higher, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success. Responsibilities include evaluating student performance, maintaining records, and collaborating with faculty and clinical partners.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Experience with learning management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, and standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress and grade reports.
• Maintain current nursing knowledge and participate in faculty meetings and continuing education.
