Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor for Scranton, PA, to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The role requires MSN or higher, an active RN license, and a minimum of three years of clinical RN experience.

The instructor will assess student performance, guide professional development, and collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to ensure student success across multiple learning modalities.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge in a nursing specialty that supports student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to nursing students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate progress/grade reports.
• Prepare timely attendance and documentation of student progress.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to support student achievement.
