Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor fosters a supportive learning environment and evaluates student performance to guide growth in knowledge, skills, and professional nursing practice.

The ideal candidate is an RN with an MSN or higher and at least 3 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Experience teaching or precepting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Maintain accurate attendance and timely student progress records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, clinical partners and other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director or Campus Administration.
