Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to deliver exceptional front-desk service in a busy Obstetrics/Gynecology unit. You will register patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments and assist with billing tasks with accuracy and compassion.

This full-time, 40-hour/week role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse patients and families.

Formación

• Customer service orientation and ability to communicate clearly with patients.
• Experience with front desk tasks and basic computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Exemplify caring and compassionate customer service to create an excellent patient experience
• Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations
• Manages patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, arrival and/or departure desk activities
• Encourages patient utilization of front-end technology during the registration process
