Advocate Health, in collaboration with Eastover University OBGYN - Obstetrics/Gynecology, seeks a dedicated Patient Service Specialist to ensure a compassionate patient experience. The role covers registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing support in a fast-paced office.

Responsibilities include encouraging front-end technology use during registration, maintaining accurate patient data, and complying with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required with computer experience.
• Experience in customer relations and front desk processes preferred.
• Healthcare environment knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling and cash receipting.
• Encourage use of front-end technology during registration.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information including insurance and billing.
• Assist billing and direct to appropriate billing office.
• Follow emergency codes and healthcare regulations.
• Monitor inventory of medications and emergency equipment.
