Job summary

Express Ocean Logistics is seeking an experienced Sales Professional in the NVOCC and Freight Forwarding space to drive growth in the NY/NJ region.

You will identify, cultivate, and close opportunities, build relationships with shippers, and coordinate with operations to ensure a seamless service delivery. This role offers salary plus commission and travel reimbursement, with flexible work setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in NVOCC and Freight Forwarding.
• Solid knowledge of international logistics, shipping lines, and market trends.
• Own book of business or existing client network is highly appreciated.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and acquire new clients for ocean freight, pre-carriage, and on-carriage services.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to maximize business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
