Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a long-term care unit. You will supervise daily nursing operations, ensure staffing on each shift, and maintain care plans in line with physician orders and regulations.

The role requires 3–5 years of nursing experience, Virginia RN license, and CPR within 30 days if needed. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to sustain patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current, un-restricted, valid RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire if not already certified.
• 3–5 years nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and calendar programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing operations on designated unit.
• Ensure adequate nursing staff per shift and communicate needs to supervisor/ scheduler.
• Oversee care plans, MD orders, and compliance with regulations.
• Perform rounds to assess residents and ensure quality care.
• Lead performance evaluations and discipline per policy.
