Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing team in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living facility. You will supervise, develop staff, and report to the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include overseeing care standards, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring documentation accuracy while complying with regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by State required with geriatric or long-term care experience preferred.
• At least two years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience.
• Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately.
• Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel to provide nursing service for residents.
• Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day resident care and supervises nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Directs and develops nurse staff and reports to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state standards and company policies.
• Makes rounds to assess residents and documents treatment and observations.
• Liaises between residents, families, and other departments for smooth operations.
