The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the state, a nursing degree from an accredited institution, and CPR certification, with prior nursing management in long-term care being a plus.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current CPR certification.
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
- Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
