Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department in line with budget and census. You will collaborate with facility administration to meet residents' needs and maintain accurate staffing records.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, maintaining contact lists, posting daily tardy records, and reporting to the DNS as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly nursing schedules and staff coverage.
• Maintain and update staff contact lists and attendance/ tardiness calendars.
• Assist with hiring records, time cards, and orientation documentation.
• Report staffing/scheduling issues to the DNS and work with HR and DNS as needed.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate applicant communications.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with policies.
