Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate nursing department staffing aligned with budget and census targets. The role reports to facility leadership and partners with the Director of Nursing Services and Human Resources to schedule personnel, track attendance, and maintain records for compliance.

The position requires a high school education, excellent English communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
• Mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Reasoning ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Manage daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing with DNS and HR.
• Prepare and file required nursing department records.
• Oversee interviewing of CNAs as requested.
• Provide orientation scheduling and staff development support.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of staff information.
• Participate in facility safety, recruitment and retention committees.
