Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Pensacola is seeking a Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator to maintain staffing levels for the nursing department around the clock. You will prepare schedules, track attendance, and coordinate calls for replacements while upholding regulatory standards.

Requires a Florida Nursing Assistant Certification and a high school diploma or equivalent. Clerical, typing, and math skills are essential, with preferred experience in staffing and scheduling using computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in Florida is required.
• Clerical skills, typing skills, and strong math skills are required.
• Staffing and scheduling experience and computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly schedules and daily sign-in sheets for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Takes call-ins while on duty and finds replacement for staff shortages.
• Updates the master schedule with changes on a daily basis.
• Maintains a record of absenteeism and reports to the Director of Nursing.
• Relays leaves of absence, vacation and schedule change requests to HR.
• Attends staffing meetings and reports staffing summaries to the Administrator and Nursing leadership.
• Revises forms as needed and maintains clerical supplies and records.
• Maintains logs of hours worked and available positions in the department.
