Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Pensacola is seeking a Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator to manage nursing staff rosters and ensure adequate coverage 24/7. The role involves coordinating schedules, on-call coverage, and communications with the Nursing Director and HR.

The ideal candidate has strong clerical and math skills, prior scheduling experience, and Florida Nursing Assistant Certification. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Florida Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Clerical, typing and strong math skills required.
• Staffing and scheduling experience and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly schedules and daily sign-in sheets for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Takes call-ins while on duty and finds replacement for staff shortages.
• Updates the master schedule with changes daily.
• Maintains absenteeism records and reports to the Director of Nursing.
• Relays Leaves, requests and time-off approvals to HR.
• Attends weekly staffing meetings and reports staffing summaries and open positions.
• Reviews punch details and submits payroll-related reports.
• Maintains logs of hours worked and department supplies.
