Job summary

Aston Group in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking a reliable Labor Coordinator to oversee staffing and scheduling for nursing and support staff, ensuring the right people are in the right place each shift.

You will work with HR to communicate staffing needs, interpret policies, and adjust schedules for call-outs and leaves while maintaining attendance records to ensure exceptional patient care. A CNA license and strong Excel/Word skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Experience with scheduling software (Hosted Time preferred).
• Solid understanding of AHCA regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to balance employee needs with facility demands.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage staffing schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Partner with HR to communicate staffing needs and updates.
• Interpret HR policies for nursing staff; coordinate training schedules with the Director of Nursing.
• Adjust schedules as needed to cover call‑outs, absences, and leaves.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, time off, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
