Job summary

PACS Group in Las Vegas is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate nursing department staffing aligned with budget and census targets. You will support scheduling, communications, and records across the facility, coordinating with the DNS and HR to maintain smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and strong English communication, with proven ability to manage schedules and staff information in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate staffing and communicate with facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update business office with current posting of all department managers’ phone numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Report to Director of Nursing Services all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism.
• Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
