Job summary

LAKELANDHILLS is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate nursing department staffing based on budget and census at our Lakeland facility. You will coordinate schedules, track attendance, and communicate staffing needs to the DNS.

You will work with Human Resources and Nursing leadership to optimize coverage, maintain records, and support a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and outside agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current listing of department staff phone numbers.
• Update office with department managers' contact details and schedules.
• Prepare monthly nursing schedules to ensure unit coverage.
• Coordinate interviews and onboarding with DNS and HR.
• Ensure new hires have required time cards and schedules.
