Job summary

Acadia is seeking a Staffing Scheduler to organize nursing work schedules based on census and patient acuity. You will monitor staffing levels, coordinate coverage for time off, and communicate scheduling issues to staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with automated scheduling platforms required.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling preferred.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prepare work schedules according to nursing guidelines.
• Monitor census, staffing, admissions and discharges to ensure staff coverage.
• Prepare monthly staffing schedule and communicate issues to staff.
• Amend staffing schedule as needed to provide quality care.
• Find coverage for time-off requests and call-outs.
• Track absenteeism and coordinate program transports when needed.
• Provide administrative support to HR and payroll teams.
• Attend staffing and nursing leadership meetings.
• Calculate lateness, FTE and weekend shift reports bi-weekly.
• Collect and compute time-clock adjustments and punch reports.
