Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a payroll and labor management professional to oversee the nursing center's labor spend and payroll processing.

You will be the primary contact for scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll, balancing staffing with financial performance and using software to control overtime and agency costs. The role requires experience in healthcare or long-term care, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, and a track record of improving labor metrics.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of work experience in healthcare or long-term care, with payroll experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary nursing center contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll.
• Balance staffing needs, employee schedule preferences, and financial performance.
• Use software to minimize overtime and agency spend while maintaining HPPD and budgeted salary expenses.
• Lead Labor Management Team to optimize clinical, financial and HR operating results.
• Maintain nursing staff coverage at all times.
