Genesis HealthCare, Inc. in Orono, ME is seeking a senior payroll and labor-management professional to oversee labor spend and payroll processes at our nursing center, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for a diverse caregiving team.

You will balance staffing needs with budget goals, lead the Labor Management Team, analyze KPIs, minimize overtime and agency costs, and collaborate with operations to maintain high-quality care while achieving financial targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare payroll or scheduling.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience improving labor efficiency and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the nursing center's labor spend and process payroll.
• Serve as primary nursing center contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll.
• Balance staffing needs, employee preferences, and financial performance.
• Use software to minimize overtime and agency spend while ensuring HPPD and salary expense stay within budget.
• Lead Labor Management Team to optimize KPIs for clinical, financial and HR outcomes.
• Maintain nursing staff coverage at all times.
