Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree verification required).
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrated experience in adult or staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Learning Facilitator: Guides orientation and ongoing learning using adult learning principles.
  • Change Agent: Collaborates to identify learning needs and ensure evidence-based practice adoption.
  • Mentor: Provides coaching to preceptors and caregivers for professional growth.
  • Leader: Facilitates interprofessional learning and advancement of nursing practice.
  • Champion for Inquiry: Fosters knowledge creation and uses evidence to improve patient care.
  • Advocate for NPD Specialty: Promotes NPD value and integration in practice.
  • Partner for Practice Transition: Supports smooth adoption of new practices and education.
