Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree verification required).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated experience in adult or staff development.
• Demonstrated nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Learning Facilitator: mentor caregivers and preceptors, applying adult learning principles to gaps identified in needs assessments.
• Change Agent: collaborate to identify goals and learning needs and promote evidence-based practices.
• Mentor: provide coaching to preceptors and caregivers for growth and development.
• Leader: foster interprofessional learning and advancement in nursing practice.
• Champion for Inquiry: create and share new knowledge to advance NPD practice.
• Advocate for NPD Specialty: promote the value of NPD and integrate its principles.
• Partner for Practice Transition: ensure smooth orientation and education during changes.
