Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville, KY seeks an RN – Nursing Professional Development (NPD 2) to lead education and competency initiatives for nursing staff and students. You will design curricula, facilitate learning, and collaborate with the Education Department to improve patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing, leadership or education required or in progress.
ANCC certification within 6 months of hire.
Experience with clinical education and competency assessment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a clinical expert and learning facilitator for nursing staff and students.
Design and deliver education programs and competency initiatives.
Coordinate onboarding and ongoing education using simulation, LMS and virtual classrooms.
Develop patient care standards and professional practice models.
Collaborate with leadership to align education with quality and safety goals.
