UofL Health is seeking an RN Educator III to lead nursing professional development programs across the system. The role collaborates with leadership and the Office of Professional Practice to elevate practice, improve patient outcomes, and ensure standards of patient care, safety, and cultural competence.

The educator will participate in learning technologies, competency assessment, and professional development for staff, aligning with organizational goals and quality initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required).
• Master’s in nursing/leadership/education (required).
• DNP/PhD/EdD (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Clinical Expert: facilitate BLS & ACLS; model high-quality patient care; ensure standards of care and cultural competence.
• Educator: plan and evaluate competency-based programs; use learning technologies and evidence-based resources.
• Development of Self and Others: mentor staff, support certification efforts, promote lifelong learning.
• Leader: align educational activities with organizational goals; manage resources and foster excellence.
• Consultant/Interdisciplinary Collaborator: support nursing leadership and quality improvement across teams.
• Change Agent: drive adoption of best practices and guide changes.
• Researcher: participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice projects.

Ausbildung

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Master’s degree in nursing, leadership, or education

DNP, PhD or EdD (preferred)
