Job summary

UofL Health, Inc. seeks an RN Educator III to lead nursing professional development across the system. You will collaborate with leadership and the Office of Professional Practice to elevate practice and patient safety through evidence-based education and technology-enabled learning.

Responsibilities include facilitating BLS/ACLS, designing competency-based programs, mentoring staff, and participating in quality improvement and nursing research to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Master’s degree in nursing, leadership, or education is required.
• DNP/PhD/EdD preferred.
• Active Kentucky RN license or compact license.
• Professional nursing certification in PD/education required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates BLS & ACLS for staff and renewal as appropriate.
• Develops education programs, competency standards and evaluation metrics.
• Assesses learning needs, designs and implements programs.
• Maintains evidence-based knowledge in nursing PD and education.
• Mentors staff and supports professional development initiatives.
• Participates in quality improvement and nursing research activities.
