Job summary

Jersey College in New Jersey is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction across LPN/PN and RN programs, including classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings. The instructor supports student learning, assesses progress, and fosters professional nursing values.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, current RN license, and at least 3 years of clinical experience; teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught courses and clinical experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Prepare accurate and timely progress and grade reports.
