Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality nursing instruction across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings for LPN/PN and RN students.

The role requires an MSN or higher and an active RN license in the appropriate state, plus a minimum of 3 years of RN clinical experience. Teaching experience is preferred, with a focus on student success and competency development.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Teaching experience in nursing education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress reports and maintain attendance records.
