Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor will evaluate performance, guide skill development, and foster a positive learning environment across programs and campuses.

Required qualifications include MSN or higher and an active RN license in the relevant state, plus a minimum of three years of RN practice.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Experience with nursing education or teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports.
• Attend faculty meetings and maintain professional qualifications.
