Job summary

Jersey College in New Jersey seeks a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students, across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings. The instructor evaluates performance, guides skill development, and promotes professional nursing standards.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, an active RN license, at least 3 years of clinical experience, and a passion for teaching.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Experience with nursing education or teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence using established standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and campus administration.
